Series 01 was born after they noticed strong similarities between the tone, texture, color and tenor of the images depending on the time of day they depicted. ‘8am is sharp, pale and balanced. Think Nan Goldin and Francis Bacon. ’The process used to match visuals with scents was deeply subjective. To create the scents, we followed a series of self-developed creative equations, such as subject, plus color, plus mood, equals note.’

The Accords are available to buy in individual vials or as a set. The duo hope that people will layer the scents throughout the day and create unique combinations.

Enjoy your week and stay curious! Yours, Fran
