Water is vital and has become a luxury. We’ve been purchasing outsourced water more frequently, representing the globalization and the luxury lives that comes with it.
However within this trend there is a contra movement emerging: luxury local water brands. Marx Design created a superior still and sparkling water brand: New Zealand Artesian Water. The look of the waters had to speak to both Chinese and New Zealand markets, where it will be sold in exclusive restaurants of each country.
Dealing with two completely different languages, the message couldn’t be relayed through words alone. The packing’s source inspiration is taken from local glaciers, and decorative stamps deriving from the 19th century New Zealand.
Typography finished with gold foil reinforces the premium opulence, which emphasized this trend.
